How We Work — Our B2B Promise to Travel Agents
We have been working with travel agents across India for years. In that time, we have heard the same concerns repeatedly — will you sell directly to my clients? Will your quote actually hold? What happens when something goes wrong on the ground? This page answers all of it. Honestly, specifically, and without the marketing language.
✍️ Bliss Hotels & Resorts — Founding Team
Bliss Hotels & Resorts is a B2B-only DMC. We do not have a consumer booking interface. We do not run Google Ads targeting your clients. We do not operate a walk-in counter. Every enquiry we receive comes from a travel agent or tour operator — and every package we execute is branded in your name, not ours.
That is not a policy we follow reluctantly — it is the foundation of how this business was built. When an agent calls us, they are not calling a competitor who also sells to their clients. They are calling a ground operations team whose only job is to make the agent look good.
The most important thing to understand about working with us: We are not a portal, not an aggregator, and not a travel agency. We are a Destination Management Company — which means we hold real hotel contracts, own vehicles, have on-ground teams at every destination we serve, and answer the phone when something goes wrong at 5am on a Kedarnath helicopter day. That is the difference between a DMC and a booking platform.

Our Six Commitments to Every Agent Partner
These are not aspirational values written for a brochure. They are the specific things we commit to on every booking — and the things we would want to know before working with any DMC ourselves.
🚫
We Never Sell Direct to Your Clients
No consumer website. No direct booking number promoted to end travellers. No retargeting ads. If your client somehow finds our website and contacts us directly, we ask for their agent’s details and route the enquiry back to you. This is not a favour — it is our operating model. An agent who trusts us with their clients is worth infinitely more than a one-time consumer booking.
Non-Negotiable
⚡
2-Hour Quote — Not 2 Days
When you send an enquiry — group size, destination, dates — you receive a complete quote within 2 hours. Not a holding message, not a “we will check and get back.” A real quote with hotel options, pricing, inclusions, and availability. Because your client is deciding between two agents, and the one who comes back first with a clear answer usually wins the booking.
Every Booking
🏷️
Your Brand, Always — We Stay Invisible
Every voucher, every welcome letter, every ground communication carries your agency’s name. Our drivers greet your clients by your agency’s name. Our hotel check-in vouchers say your company name. Your clients will never know Bliss Hotels & Resorts was involved — unless you want them to. We have been running this way since the beginning because the agent’s relationship with their client is theirs to own.
White-Label Always
📞
One Contact — One Number — One Person
Every agent who works with us gets a dedicated relationship manager. Not a rotating helpdesk. Not a different person every time you call. One person who knows your agency, your clients’ typical preferences, your billing history, and your communication style. When something goes wrong at 5am, you call that one number and one person picks up — not a call centre that asks you to repeat your booking reference.
Dedicated Manager
💰
Fixed Net Rates — Your Margin Is Yours
Our B2B rates are separate from any public-facing pricing. We quote net rates — what you pay us — and what you charge your client is entirely your decision. We do not know, and we do not ask. Your margin structure is your business. We provide GST invoices on our net amount, and vouchers at your selling price if you need them that way.

24×7 Ground Support — Real Emergencies, Real Solutions
Our on-ground teams at Manali, Rishikesh, Ramnagar (Corbett), and Nashik are reachable around the clock during active bookings. A cancelled helicopter, a hotel that double-booked, a client who fell sick at Kedarnath — these are handled by people on the ground who know the area, not by someone remote who googles the solution. This is the part of DMC work that does not show up in a brochure but determines whether an agent comes back.
Round the Clock
How a Booking Actually Works — Start to Finish
No mystery, no black box. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you send an enquiry to the moment your client comes home.
You Send the Enquiry
WhatsApp, call, or email — whichever you prefer. Tell us the destination, travel dates, group size, accommodation preference, and any specific client requirements. The more specific you are, the more useful our quote will be. A message that says “Manali, 6 people, 3 nights, mid-range hotel, need snow” gets a better first quote than “Manali package please.”
We Send a Complete Quote — Within 2 Hours
Your dedicated manager checks real-time availability across our hotel contracts, builds the quote, and sends it back. You get: hotel name, room category, per-person net rate, inclusions, and any important notes about the property or destination for the requested dates. Not an estimate — a bookable quote.
You Confirm and Pay Advance
Once you confirm the booking, we issue a pro-forma invoice. Standard advance is 30–50% at booking — balance before departure. Payment via UPI, NEFT, or account transfer. We issue a GST invoice within 24 hours of payment received.
We Send White-Label Vouchers
Hotel vouchers, transport vouchers, activity booking confirmations — all in your agency’s name. You share these directly with your client. The driver who picks them up will greet them by your agency’s name. The hotel has your voucher on file, not ours.
We Execute — You Stay Updated
Your relationship manager sends you check-in confirmation when your clients arrive. Any on-ground issue — a room not ready, a driver delayed, a weather change affecting the itinerary — is communicated to you directly so you can manage your client’s expectations. You are never left waiting to hear if the trip is going well.
Post-Trip Settlement and Feedback
Balance payment is settled after the trip. We send a brief feedback note to understand what worked and what could be better. Updated rates for your next booking are shared proactively — so you are always working with current numbers, not last season’s pricing.
What We Do and What We Don’t — Clearly Stated
The clearest way to understand how we work is to see what we commit to doing and what we explicitly do not do.
✗ What We Never Do
- Sell directly to your clients
- Promote our brand to your travellers
- Share your client’s contact details with anyone
- Change a confirmed rate after booking
- Substitute a hotel without your approval
- Leave a group without on-ground contact
- Ignore an emergency call from your client
- Compete with you for the same lead
✔ What We Always Do
- Quote within 2 hours of enquiry
- Brand all vouchers in your agency’s name
- Keep one relationship manager per agency
- Issue proper GST invoices on net rates
- Communicate on-ground issues to you in real time
- Handle rebooking when weather or other issues arise
- Confirm check-in so you know the trip started well
- Share updated rates proactively each season
What “24×7 Ground Support” Actually Looks Like
The phrase “24×7 support” appears in every DMC’s brochure. Here is what it has meant for our agents in practice — specific situations, real responses.
Helicopter Cancelled — Group of 18
Weather grounded all Phata flights at 7am. A group of 18 pilgrims from a Delhi agent was waiting at the helipad. Our Guptakashi ground contact was there within 20 minutes, moved the group to their hotel, rebooked the first available morning slots for the next day, coordinated an extra night at the same hotel rate, and the group did their Kedarnath darshan the following morning. The Delhi agent received updates throughout — they did not need to make a single call to the helipad operator themselves.
Hotel Double-Booked — Family of 6
A jungle resort double-booked a family of 6 from a Mumbai agent on the night of their check-in. Our Ramnagar contact identified this at 4pm — two hours before the family’s arrival. By the time the family reached the gate, we had shifted them to a comparable jungle resort 3 km away, at the same rate, with the safari permits transferred. The family never knew there had been a problem. The Mumbai agent found out when we called to explain what had happened and what we had done.
Road Blocked by Snow — Honeymoon Couple
Heavy snowfall blocked the Rohtang approach the morning a honeymoon couple was scheduled to visit Solang Valley. Our Manali contact rerouted them to Jogini Waterfall trek and an Old Manali café afternoon — a completely different itinerary, but one the couple later said was the highlight of the trip. The agent received a message at 9am saying the route had changed and why, not a call asking what to do.
Pilgrim Fell Ill — Group of 30
A senior pilgrim in a group of 30 felt unwell on the Amrit Snan day at Ramkund. Our Nashik team coordinated an auto-rickshaw to the nearest medical facility, arranged a doctor visit, stayed with the pilgrim while the rest of the group continued, and reunited them with the group at the camp by evening. The agent was informed at every step. The rest of the group’s programme was not disrupted.
You Have Probably Seen Us at an Expo
We exhibit at India’s major B2B travel trade events every year — IITM, TAAPI Travel Expo (TTE Booth 96), Travel Bazaar (Stall 191), and Global Tourism Club roadshows. If you have attended any of these events in the last few years, there is a good chance you have walked past our stall. These are not sponsorship activations — we go to meet agents, understand what destinations they are struggling to sell, and build relationships that actually convert into bookings.

The IITM Award for B2B excellence and the TTE recognition are things we are proud of — not because of the certificate, but because they are a verification from the industry that what we say about how we work is actually how we work. Any DMC can claim 24×7 support. Not many get recognised for it at a national travel trade platform.
Questions Agents Ask Before Their First Booking
These are the real questions agents ask us before committing to a first booking — and the honest answers.
- “What if I send an enquiry and you don’t get back in time?” — It has happened in rare cases and we own that. The fix: WhatsApp is the fastest channel. A WhatsApp message at any hour gets a response faster than an email. If your relationship manager does not respond within 2 hours during working hours, escalate directly to our sales number.
- “What if the hotel you book is not what you described?” — We do not book properties we have not verified. If a property falls short of how we described it and your client complains with evidence, we address it — partial refund, upgrade at the next available property, or credit on the next booking. We do not argue with legitimate complaints.
- “Can I visit your office or meet the team?” — Yes. Our base is in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. If you are visiting the region, our team will meet you. We also attend expos regularly — check our social media for upcoming events where you can meet us in person.
- “What happens if I have a bad first experience and want to stop working with you?” — You owe us nothing beyond what is already booked. We do not have lock-in contracts with agents. If a booking goes wrong and we cannot resolve it to your satisfaction, we would rather you tell us what happened and give us a chance to fix it — but the decision to continue working together is always yours.
- “Do you work with agents from any city or only metro agents?” — We work with agents across India — Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, and smaller cities equally. The quality of service does not change based on how large your agency is or how many bookings you have sent us previously.
- “What is the minimum booking size to work with you?” — There is no minimum. A single couple booking on their honeymoon gets the same care and the same relationship manager as a group of 200 pilgrims. The first booking from any agent is treated as if it is the most important one — because it usually determines whether there is a second.
