Why We Don’t Sell Direct — Our B2B Only Promise
Every travel agent who works with a DMC for the first time has the same fear — “what stops them from going around me and selling directly to my client?” It is a legitimate question. And it deserves a direct answer, not a reassuring marketing statement. Here is ours.
✍️ Bliss Hotels & Resorts — Founding Team
Bliss Hotels & Resorts has been a B2B-only DMC since the day we started. Not B2B-first with a consumer channel on the side. Not B2B for some destinations and direct for others. Purely B2B — meaning every booking we handle comes from a travel agent or tour operator, and every client we serve belongs to that agent’s business, not ours.
This is not a policy we adopted because it seemed like the right thing to say. It is the business model we chose because it is the only one that works long-term in destination management. A DMC that goes around its agents eventually has no agents. And a DMC without agents has no business — because DMC operations are built for volume and relationships, not for one-off consumer bookings.
The direct answer to the direct question: No, we do not sell to your clients. Not through our website — we do not have a consumer booking interface. Not through advertising — we do not run Google or Meta ads targeting individual travellers. Not through WhatsApp — if a client messages us directly, we ask who their agent is and send the enquiry back. This is not a promise we make reluctantly. It is how the business runs.
The Real Fears Agents Have — Addressed Directly
We have heard these concerns from agents who work with us for the first time — and from agents who have had bad experiences with other operators. Each one deserves a specific answer, not a general reassurance.
“My client will find your website and book directly.”
Our website is structured for travel agents. There is no “Book Now” button for individual travellers. No pricing visible to consumers. No enquiry form that accepts direct client bookings. If your client visits blisshotelsandresorts.in, they see a B2B DMC website — not a consumer travel portal. There is nothing there for them to book.
→ What actually happens: They see our site, understand we work through agents, and go back to you.
“My client might find your WhatsApp number and contact you.”
It happens occasionally — a client sees our number on a voucher or finds it online. When they message us directly, our first question is: “Are you working with a travel agent?” If yes, we ask for the agent’s name and route everything back. We do not take the booking. We do not quote them a price. We do not give them a reason to bypass their agent.
→ What actually happens: We tell them to go through their agent. Their booking stays with you.
“You might run ads targeting my clients on Google or Instagram.”
We do not run consumer-facing digital advertising. No Google search ads targeting “Manali packages” or “Char Dham yatra.” No Instagram ads showing honeymoon packages to individual travellers. Our marketing is entirely B2B — travel trade expos, agent outreach, and content that speaks to agents. We have no mechanism to retarget your clients because we do not collect consumer data.
→ What actually happens: Your clients will never see a Bliss Hotels ad. We are not in their digital environment.
“You might offer my client a better rate if they come to you directly.”
We do not have retail pricing. Our rates are net B2B rates — they are not consumer prices with a margin built in. If a client somehow reached us and asked for pricing, we would not quote them because we do not have a consumer rate structure. The only prices we work with are the wholesale rates we give agents. There is no “going direct is cheaper” scenario because we have no direct channel to price at.
→ What actually happens: We have nothing to offer them. Our pricing model does not support direct sales.
“After you meet my client on-ground, you might contact them directly next time.”
Our drivers greet clients by your agency’s name. Our welcome communications carry your brand. Our on-ground team knows they work for you, not for Bliss Hotels — as far as the client is aware. We do not collect client contact details for our own marketing. We do not add clients to any Bliss Hotels communication list. After the trip, your client remembers your agency — not ours.
→ What actually happens: Your client comes back to you for the next trip. That is the entire point.
Why Not Selling Direct Is Not Charity — It Is Business Logic
We are not a B2B-only DMC because of some philosophical commitment to being nice to travel agents. We are B2B-only because it is the correct business model for what we do.
Running a consumer travel channel is a completely different business from running a DMC. Consumer sales require massive marketing budgets — Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO for consumer keywords, customer support for individual complaints, review management across OTAs, and a pricing strategy that competes with MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, and Thomas Cook. None of that is what we do or what we are built for.
What we are built for is operations — hotel inventory management, transport logistics, permit coordination, on-ground emergency handling, and the kind of destination-specific knowledge that only comes from years of managing ground services in Manali, Rishikesh, Jim Corbett, and Nashik. That is where our value is. That is what agents pay us for. Going direct would mean competing in a market we are not equipped for, while destroying the trust of the agent network that is our actual revenue.
✗ What a Non-B2B DMC Looks Like
- Consumer booking website with “Book Now” button
- Google Ads for “Manali packages”, “Char Dham tour”
- Instagram ads showing holiday packages to travellers
- OTA listings on MakeMyTrip, Booking.com
- Consumer-facing WhatsApp number promoted publicly
- Retail pricing structure (hidden margin from agents)
- Client contact details collected for own marketing
- Drivers carrying DMC’s own branding materials
✔ How Bliss Hotels & Resorts Works
- B2B-only website — no consumer booking interface
- Zero consumer-facing digital advertising
- No OTA listings or consumer portal presence
- Net wholesale pricing — no hidden retail margin
- Direct enquiries routed back to the agent
- White-label — all client communications in agent’s name
- No client data collected for Bliss marketing
- Drivers briefed to represent agent’s brand on-ground
How You Can Verify This — Not Just Take Our Word
We do not expect agents to trust this based on what we write here. These are the things you can check yourself:
Check Our Website
Visit blisshotelsandresorts.in as if you were a consumer. There is no booking button, no consumer pricing, no “plan your trip” interface. It is clearly a B2B website.
Search Google
Search “Manali packages” or “Char Dham yatra” on Google. You will not find a Bliss Hotels paid ad targeting consumers. We are not in that auction.
Check Instagram & Meta
Search for Bliss Hotels & Resorts on Instagram. Our social media content is B2B-oriented — expo attendance, destination updates for agents, no consumer holiday promotions.
Ask Other Agents
We work with 1000+ travel agent partners across India. Ask any of them whether they have ever had a client contact them saying Bliss Hotels reached out directly. The answer will be no.
Our Expo Presence
At IITM, TTE, and Travel Bazaar — we exhibit in the B2B hall, meeting agents. Not in the consumer travel fair section. Our industry positioning is visible at every event we attend.
Send a Test Enquiry
Send us a client enquiry as if you are that client — no agency name, direct consumer message. Watch what happens. We ask for the agent. That is the process, every time.

Every expo we attend is a B2B travel trade event — IITM, TAAPI Travel Expo (Booth 96), Travel Bazaar (Stall 191), Global Tourism Club. We are not at consumer travel fairs. The entire Bliss Hotels & Resorts industry presence is agent-facing, because agents are our clients.
What Actually Happens When a Client Contacts Us Directly
We want to be specific about this because “we route it back to you” is easy to say and harder to verify. Here is the exact sequence:
Client messages our WhatsApp: “I want to book a Manali trip for 4 people in December.”
Our response: “Thank you for reaching out. We work exclusively with travel agents and tour operators — we are not able to book directly with individual travellers. Are you already working with a travel agent? If yes, please share their name and we will coordinate through them. If you need a travel agent recommendation, we are happy to help connect you with a partner agency in your city.”
The client is not quoted a price. They are not given a package option. They are redirected to their agent — or offered help finding one. If they name their agent and that agent is one of our partners, we contact the agent directly to let them know their client reached out, and the conversation continues through the agent. If they are not working with any agent, we can refer them to a partner agency — but the booking still goes through an agent, not directly through us.
What This Means for Your Agency — Practically
When you work with a genuinely B2B-only DMC, a few things change in how you run Manali, Char Dham, and Uttarakhand packages:
- You can share our destination knowledge with your clients without worrying we will use that contact. If we send you a detailed Char Dham agent briefing document, you can share it with your client as your own agency’s research. We are not going to contact that client to follow up.
- Your client’s phone number, email, and travel history stay with you. We do not collect it, store it for marketing, or use it for any purpose beyond the active booking. After the trip, that client relationship is entirely yours.
- You can price our packages at whatever margin you choose. We quote you a net rate. What you charge your client is your business decision. We have no visibility into your pricing and no interest in it.
- You can promote Manali, Char Dham, and Corbett packages knowing your ground partner is not competing for the same client. Every lead you generate stays yours. We are not in the consumer acquisition game.
- Your repeat clients remain your repeat clients. A client who books Manali through you this year and comes back for Char Dham next year will come back to you — not to us. That is the entire point of white-label operations.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Bliss Hotels and Resorts sell directly to end clients?
No. We operate exclusively as a B2B DMC — only working with travel agents and tour operators. We have no consumer booking interface, run no consumer-facing advertising, and do not accept direct bookings from individual travellers. If a client contacts us directly, we ask for their travel agent’s details and route the enquiry back.
How do I know you won’t sell to my clients after you meet them on-ground?
Our drivers greet clients by your agency’s name. All on-ground communication carries your brand. We do not collect client contact details for our own marketing. After the trip, clients remember your agency — not ours. We have no consumer marketing channel to reach them through even if we wanted to.
What happens if my client contacts Bliss Hotels directly?
We ask for their travel agent’s name and agency. If they are working with one of our partners, we contact that agent directly and let them know. We do not quote the client a price, do not share package options, and do not take the booking directly. The conversation is routed back to their agent.
Why does Bliss Hotels choose not to sell direct?
Because it is not our business model — and building a consumer channel would require an entirely different infrastructure (marketing budgets, retail pricing, OTA presence, consumer support) while destroying the trust of the agent network that is our actual revenue. It makes no commercial sense for us to go direct.
What does B2B-only mean for my agency’s client relationships?
It means your client relationship is entirely yours. Your clients will never receive communication from Bliss Hotels & Resorts. Every voucher, welcome message, and on-ground interaction carries your brand. Your repeat clients come back to you — not to us.
